The 46th Ward has a wide range of businesses – from locally raised entrepreneurs to large industrial businesses that provide Chicago-made products and Chicago-based services to people around the world – containing close to 1,000 different businesses, 200 food retailers and close to 400 business license holders. Alderman Cappleman works continuously to have the city issue numerous licenses to current and future business owners throughout the ward.
In addition, the 46th ward boasts beautiful and renowned historical sites that have played and continue to play vital roles within the community.
